TERMS OF BOOKING Marjakartano Hussola
Payment of the reservation
Booking amount fee (+ additional costs for example final cleaning or bed linen) will be charged to your credit card 60 days prior to the start of reservation.
Cancellations and changes in reserve
Cancellation of the reservation is free of charge 60 days prior to the start of reservation. If the reservation is cancelled less than 60 days before the beginning of the reservation period, the whole reservation price will be charged from the customer. If the cancellation is due to sudden illness, serious accident or death of the customer or a family member living in the same address, the customer can be refunded the payment made to the holiday home owner. A sudden illness or accident injury must show with a medical certificate which shows the starting point of the disease, as well as configuration and travel ban. Sudden illness does not mean chronic or long-term basic disease, whose symptoms suddenly get worse, and thus prevent the departure of the tour. Cancellations must be notified without delay.
The right of the owner to cancel or suspend booking a Force Majeure event
In case of force majeure, such as pipes freezing or other problems that prevents using holiday accommodation, the owner can cancel a paid reservation. In that case the owner as soon as possible informs the customer of the cancellation. The customer is then entitled to receive back the rent he paid to the owner. Property owner’s liability is limited only to return the rental payment which the customer has paid to the owner. There is no obligation to offer substitutive accomodation. Liability is not also for indirect costs e.g. travel costs.
Receiving, using and returning the keys
Accommodation is available to the customer from 16:00 on the arrival day until 12:00 on the departure day. The customer gets 2 keys from Marjakartano Hussola reception. On departure day keys will be left back to the reception. The customer who has made the booking is responsible for the keys on booking period. If the customer loses a key, he will be charged the expenses for changing the lock.
Staying at the holiday home
Holiday home equipment is available for the customer throughout the whole stay. The customer who has made the booking is responsible for a holiday home and equipment the period of booking.
The customer is responsible for cleaning the holiday home during his visit. On departure day the customer can clean holiday home by himself or buy the final cleaning from Marjakartano Hussola. Although final cleaning is paid, should holiday home be like normal housing, furniture and other equipment in their own places and intact, take garbages out to the rubbish bin, dishes done (can be left out to dry in the dishwasher), and any secretions (vomit, excrement, etc..) removed.
If when reservation ends the holiday home cleanness is not as above, and Marjakartano Hussola will have to take care of it before the next customer’s arrival, the cleaning afterwards will cost à € 50 / hour.
Damages and Complaints
Complaints concerning the accommodation or any other conditions must be addressed to Marjakartano Hussola immediately when noticed, so the conditions can be improved and inconvenience minimised. The customer must also inform Marjakartano Hussola immediately on any damages caused to the holiday home or the interior and pay full compensation. If the customer does not inform guardian about the damages caused, the cost of damages will be charged according to real expenses afterwards.
Number of people
Holiday home in the largest number of persons allowed is the same as the apartment number of beds and extra beds. Charge for extra person is € 60 / person / day, payment by cash.
Smoking and pets
Smoking is allowed only outside of holiday home. Smoking inside will lead to interruption of the reservation and, in addition, a ventilation fee of 100 EUR will be charged.
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED! For pets that are brought in without permission, an extra fee of
100 € / pet / day is charged in cash and the reservation may be interrupted. Property owner is not responsible for unauthorized smoking or animal dander causing allergie or another problems to the customer.
